Who we are
Development Hub Initiative (DHI) is a non-governmental, non political and not-for-Profit organization with cooperate identity whose aim is to contribute to the prevention, treatment and care for people living with HIV/AIDS as well as improvement of lives and livelihood of orphans, vulnerable children, women and young people. Development Hub Initiative (DHI) at the apex has a Board of Directors made up of 9 members [5females and 4males] who determine the policy directions of the organization while the day-to-day administration of the organization is saddledwith the management team headed by the executive director. Development Hub Initiative (DHI) is a registered member of several networks to mention few a member of Civil Society on HIV/AIDS in Nigeria (CISHAN), Youth Network on HIV/AIDS, Population and Development Activities (NYNETHA), Association of Orphans and Vulnerable Children in Nigeria (AONN), National Council of Child Rights Advocates of Nigeria (NACCRAN), Benue State Child Protection Network (CPN) Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and National Planning CommissionOur vision

Development Hub Initiative (DHI) is an NGO with a multi-dimensional approach tohealth, education, religious and moral value in the society and to contribute significantly in increasing good health and well being of orphans & vulnerable children, young people and women, empowering widows, equipping the vulnerable with adequate skills, upholding core moral values and striving to make the world a better place for all.

OUR OBJECTIVES
- To be purely not-for-profit and non-political initiative.
- To advocate for and protect the right of children, youth and women.
- To strengthen the capacity of families to protect and care for Orphans and vulnerable children.
- To ensure access to clean water and improve environmental sanitation and hygiene behaviour through community driven projects.
- To advocate for and educate on sexuality health education of Children and youth through community based education using Adolescent reproductive health (ARH) and STI’s/HIV and aids preventive strategy.
- To enhance care and support for young people with special needs and their care givers to improve access to health, education, nutrition and shelter.
- To enhance self employment and sustenance of the less privileged by Organizing vocational training.
- To promote improved agricultural production for the benefit of the Poor and vulnerable.
- To promote positive response to gender issues for the empowerment of women.
- To maintaining human rights and dignity that ensures a society free of sexual harassment and other types of discrimination.
- To duly and legally, establish means of raising funds from various sources either through donations, grants and other fund raising activities.
- To collaborate with international, national and state. agencies with respect to development activities in Nigeria.
